Game Crazy liquidation sale

Closing 200+ out of 680 stores.  From October 3-9 everything in the store
will be slashed by 30%,10-16 50%, then 17 up until closing (possibly Oct.
27) 80%.

We went in on Sunday, and were told the starting date was changed to Oct.  
5. So, if you didn't go over the weekend, you didn't miss anything :-).
Bear in mind, though, that they've packed up a lot of stuff to send to the  
stores that are staying open, so it's not like they'll be selling hot new  
games for liquidation prices. Still, there are probably some gems to be  
found.

I've never even seen one of these stores before. Back when I was in
the market for a PlayStation 2 Slim, some dude on eBay kept posting
them up from Game Crazy.

They're attached to some Hollywood Video locations.

I went to the one near my house and it was pretty pathetic. The store was
1/4th the size of a Gamestop, and half of that was taken up by a huge
counter behind which they kept the new games. Their inventory of used
stuff was pathetic and Gamestop had them beat on price as well. Haven't
been back, and probably won't bother with this liquidation sale either.
